So you’re looking at those T-bolt clamps, the 19mm-wide bands we’ve been running for heavy-duty pipe work—typically automotive or mining, where vibration is a constant issue and a standard worm-drive just won’t hold.

Band thickness is your first real decision point: 0.6mm for lighter builds or low-pressure lines, 0.8mm as the workhorse most buyers go with, and 1.0mm when you know you’ll be tightening down on something that chews through thinner straps—we see 1.0mm a lot on mining slurry hoses that flex hard.

We stock stainless in 304, 201, and 430 depending on how much corrosion resistance you actually need (304 is the for marine, but 201 handles most automotive environments fine), and bolt assembly is carbon steel with zinc plating unless you specify otherwise—really, it’s about balancing cost against the harshness of your rinse-down schedule.

Now, the T-bolt design is basically what sets these apart: you get even pressure around the full 360 degrees rather than the pinched point-load form a worm-drive, which means less chance of damaging the hose or pipe wall when you’re torquing it down—plus, we’ve got free samples if you want to test teh fit before committing.

One thing I should mention: these aren’t for high-pressure hydraulic lines above 300 psi or so—they’re a mechanicla clamp for hose-to-pipe connections, not a presure-rated coupling, so check your actual working load before ordering.
