It's basically a stainless steel quick release hook for transmission systems, model WD6109, and we've been shipping these to the US and EU for a couple of years now. The high mirror polished surface isn't just for looks—it actually cuts down on corrosion, which matters when you're dealing with industrial environments.
We usually have stock in the 500-1,000 unit range, but for larger runs we need about 20 days or so to produce. Each unit gets CE and ISO certs, and we include a COA with every shipment because buyers in the UK and EU tend to demand that paperwork for import compliance.
Customization is available, and what it does is allow you to tweak dimensions or finish without a huge MOQ. Most buyers go with the silver finish, though, since it's already passivated and resists rust better than standdard grades.
The packaing is carton plus wooden pallet, and we do use protective plastic bags inside to prevent scratches during handling—something you'd only know if you've actually unboxed a few hundred of these. Import docs are straightforward: our company provide teh TDS and SDS, plus the certificate of origin for China, so customs in the US or EU hasn't been an issue.
But it's not suited for heavy lifting application where tensile strength above 200 kg is required—this is really for transmission system quick-release use, not rigging. Anyway, we've had buyers in automotive and aerospace fields use these, and they typically come back for repeat orders.
MOQ depends on the customization level. For standard silver finish stainless steel, we typically start at 500 pieces. If you need a custom spec or packaging, we can discuss lower quantities on a case-by-case basis.
