That 1000 N.m tightening torque is enough to snap most M16 bolts if you're not careful, and teh 1300 N.m loosening torque handles even the rusted-on truck lug nuts we've seen in the shop. The brushless motor is the real reason it runs cool for extended sessions—you’ll get about 2 hours of constant use form the 4000mAh battery before it needs a recharge, and the charger tops it off in exactly that time, usually 2 hours. It’s not for delicate work on small fasteners below M16, as the impact rate of 2400 IPM can easily over-torque them.
We run each unit through a quick torque test before it leaves—not every single one gets a full spec sheet, but we do batch HPLC checks on the motor windings and a functional test on the forward/reverse brake-stop feature. The double insulation rating means you can use it in damp conditions without worrying, though we don't recommend submerging it obviously. One thing we’ve noticed is the battery contacts can get a bit warm after heavy use, so let it cool for 10 minutes before swapping packs.
Minimum order is 50 units for this model, but our company can usually do a sample order of 10 if you're testing waters—just confirm lead time as it’s typically 20 days or so from payment. We’ve been shipping these to automotive shops and rental fleets for about three years now, and the main complaint we hear isn’t about power but the weight: 2.5 kg without battery, so it’s a bit heavy for overhead work. Anyway, you get a COA with each batch, and we can adjust the packaing to your spec if you need foam inserts instead of the standerd cardboard.
The 1000 N·m is the max tightening torque. The max unfastening (breakaway) torque is actually 1300 N·m, so you can get stubborn bolts loose without a problem.
Our standard MOQ is 50 units for the PB1000. If you need a smaller trial order, reach out to us and we can discuss options.
Yes, the PB1000 meets Class II double insulation safety standards. We can provide a CE declaration of conformity and a test report for the motor and battery upon request.
It's designed for M16 to M30 bolts. The 1/2-inch drive and 1000 N·m torque give you plenty of power for those sizes in heavy-duty applications.
Charging takes about 2 hours with the included 21V DC 2A charger. The charger accepts standard 200-240V AC input, so check your local power supply before ordering.
