It picks up drones form about a kilometer out, but we've seen it lock onto signals at over 8 kilometers in open terrain with clear line of sight—that's teh kind of range you actually get, not just a spec on paper.

Basically, it covers all the common bands you'd expect: 900MHz, 1.2GHz, 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, and 5.8GHz, so it'll catch DJI, Autel, FIMI, even DIY FPV rigs and WiFi drones, though it's not great for detecting micro drones that barely emit a signal anyway.

The azimuth error is under 1.5 degrees RMS, and location error stays within 10 meters or so—pretty tight for a portable unit—but what a lot of buyers don't realize is that the battery run time is about 4 hours on the dual batteries, and you can hot-swap them if you're quick about it.

We usually stock the standdard IP65 case (closed) with a 10.1-inch 1080P screen at 500 cd/m² brightness, which is fine for daylight use, and the whole thing weighs under 18 kilograms without the adapter, so it's manageable for one person to carry.

Customiztion is possible—we've done different frequency profiles for some clients, and the casing can be painted in non-standard colors—but the lead time for that is typically 30 days or so, whereas standard units ship within 2 weeks.

Anyway, power consumption stays under 100W, and it runs on 100-220V AC, so you'll need a decent external supply or a generator if you're out in the field for more than a few hours.
