Pricing actually breaks into three clear tiers, and most buyers go with the mid-volume option for the best balance. Sample units run about $4,800, mid-volume around $4,200 per unit, and bulk orders of 20 or more drop to roughly $3,900 each.
The carbon fiber frame keeps the total weight manageable at 7kg max takeoff, which matters when you're lifting a 2.5kg payload for a full 3.5 hours. That 16000mAh 24V LiPo is the reason you can fly that long — but only if you're not pushing max speed, which is 65km/h anyway. Operating temp from -20°C to 45°C covers most real-world conditions, though we've had users report issues with the IP44 rating in heavy rain. It's basically fine for dust and light spray, but don't expect to fly through a monsoon. The RTK positioning gives you ±0.1m accuracy, which is tighter than most consumer drones for survey work.
Data transmission range is selectable form 10km to 100km depending on your module, and the 100km option adds about $600 to the unit cost. You'll want to confirm line-of-sight conditions for the long-range stuff — we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for the 100km variant, as it's built to order.
And here's a detail most spec sheets skip: teh standard RTF version comes with the flight controller pre-tuned for the 2.5kg payload, but if you swap to a thermal imaging camera or a mapping unit, you'll need to recalibrate the PID gains. We include the software for that, but it's not plug-and-play for every payload. So if you're running a 4K gimbal, you're fine — the 20x zoom works great — but the thermal sensor has a slightly different center of gravity that can affect stability at high altitude.
3.5 hours flight time is advertised number, but that's at conditions with no wind and a standerd payload. Real-world missions with mapping cameras and 12m/s wind resistnce tend to get about 2 hours 45 minutes or so.
