CE and EN71 cover the basic migration limits for heavy metals (lead, cadmium, barium) at 0.1% by weight, but we also run ASTM F963 for small-part tensile strength and REACH SVHC screening on every production batch—though the HPLC trace for phthalates usually comes back below 50 ppm anyway. Sample turnaround is 7-10 days with free modifications until you approve the stitch density; production then runs 15-45 days depending on whether you want that embroidery or screen-printed logo.
Custom sizing from 10 cm up to 30 cm is straightforward, but if you push past 40 cm, the armature wire (if you add it) changes the seam reinforcement pattern and adds roughly 5 days to cycle. We find most buyers go with the 20 cm for trade show giveaways—it fits one per OPP bag and keeps shiping weight under 150 g.
One detail most spec sheets skip: the OPP bag seal strength matters more than the toy for long-term storage. If your warehose humidity drifts above 60% RH, we recommend switching to a foil-lined pouch with desiccant, or the pigment from the embroidery thread can wick onto the plush surface over 12 months or so.
Anyway, the sample policy is free modifications until you're happy, but confirm lead time before locking your campaign date—we usually have stock of the 10 cm rabbit plush, but the 30 cm custom colors require a 500-unit MOQ to justify a dedicated dye lot.
