It ships in a reinforced foam-lined crate, roughly 45kg, and the handpiece has a sapphire crystal tip that actually stays cool during operation—water plus air plus semiconductor plus A/C keeps the diode stack at a steady 20°C or so. Energy density goes from 1 to 160J/cm², pulse width adjustable 1-400ms, and the spot sizes range from 12×12mm up to 15×27mm, so you can swap depending on whether you’re doing a full back or just the upper lip.
Most buyers are clinics doing 8-12 treatments per patient, usually spaced 4-6 weeks apart, and they’ll run through 20 million shots without a diode drop—we’ve tested that ourselves, and it’s not just a spec sheet number. What it does is target melanin in the hair follicle at 808nm, and because the wavelength is pretty specific, you don’t get the pigmentation side effects you’d see with IPL on darker skin types. It handles Fitzpatrick I through VI, but honestly, for very tanned skin in summer, we’d still recommend dropping the fluence to 20J/cm² or so and testing a patch first.
A/C is actually a nice upgrade over just water-cooled units, especially if you’re in a humid climate where condenser coils can gunk up faster than usual. The display is an 8.4-inch color touch LCD, and you update the software via USB—firmware updates come roughly every 6 months, and we can email you the files if you don’t have a USB drive handy. Two-year the handpiece and diode array, with the 20-million-shot guarantee; if the power drops below 80% before that, we replace it.
We usually offer OEM/ODM on these too, so if you want custom colors or your own branding on the housing, that adds about 3-4 weeks to lead time because they re-print the panels and plastic. One detail buyers sometimes miss is that teh handpiece cable is detachable, which makes storage easier but also means you’ve got a weak point if someone triples over it—order a spare cable during the initial purchase, about $80 each. Also, it runs on both 110V and 220V with a 20V tolerance, so it’s fine for internatioanl shiping, but the plug type changes, obviously.
For shipping, we use cold chain packing only on the handpiece coolant lines, not the whole machine, because the diode stack itself is fine at ambient temps as long as it’s not frozen solid. You’ll want to let it sit for 2-4 hours after unboxing if it sat in a 0°C truck overnight, just to let the coolant settle—otherwise you might get low-flow error on the first startup. We include a COA for the laser output wavelength measured at 808nm±2nm, plus the CE, FDA, and TGA paperwork in the crate.
Our MOQ is 1 unit for sample orders, so you can test the machine before committing to bulk. For larger orders, we typically negotiate MOQs based on volume.

The 20 million shot guarantee applies to the laser module, not the handpiece's sapphire crystal or cooling components. The handpiece is built to last, but we offer a 2-year warranty on the whole unit including it.
We pack each KM800D in a reinforced aluminum flight case with foam inserts to protect the handpiece and screen. The case is designed for air or sea freight and includes a handle for easy transport.
