Actually went with the DY-DL1 after checking a few units in person at a suppiler’s showroom — the build quality on this one is noticeably better than the cheaper alternatives, and the 8-inch touch screen is responsive, not laggy like some others I’ve seen. It’s basically the sweet spot between clinic-grade performence and what our company can reasonably run in a smaller space without tripping breakers, and the 1400W output is fine for back-to-back sessions.

The 808nm wavelength (it’s also listed as 810nm depending on who you ask) penetrates deep enough for most skin types, and the adjustable power density from 5 to 50J/cm² gives us flexibility for both fast pass and detailed work — though we’ll mostly be using the profesional mode, not the fast mode, since our clients tend to prefer slower treatment with more comfort. 12x12mm spot size is standard, nothing exotic. Dual cooling — air plus water plus semiconductor — means less downtime between pulses, though you’ll still want to let it idle after 45 minutes or so.

Weight is about 20kg, which is manageable for two people but not something you want to move daily. CE and patent certs are confirmed on the COA, though we didn’t get the exact patent number yet — usually they provide that with shippng docs. The air and water cooling loops are sealed, so you don’t need to refill, but check the manual because the semiconductor module can overheat if you run it at 10Hz for too long without a break.

Lead time is roughly 3 weeks for this model, but I’d confirm stock before sending the PO, since last time we ordered a similar unit it took closer to 5 weeks. MOQ is just one unit, which is fine for our trial. Packaging is a single box with foam inserts, 460x500x280mm dimensions, no custom crate unless requested. Not suited for mobile setups — it’s too heavy and needs stable cart. (usually 2-4 weeks for full setup and training)
