Most buyers settling on the 27.5-inch version for mixed terrain because it's a decent compromise; the disc brakes are front and rear, nothing fancy but they stop you reliably when the trail goes loose. 3. What it does is use a 21-speed Shimano drivetrain with the EF51-8 shifter, and it shifts smoothly enough for casual climbing or flat stretches, though don't expect race-grade precision at this price point — it's built for durability, not grams. The aluminum alloy rims cut some weight, but bike still comes in around 17kg net, so you'll feel it on a long push up a hill. 4. We run HPLC and COA checks of raw steel going into the frames, and we can share those test reports if you ask — usually within 24 hours, but confirm lead time when ordering because sometimes the retest takes an extra day or two. Custom color options are avaliable, but they add maybe 10-14 business days to production, and the MOQ for custom paint is 50 units or so. 6.
