The tires are air-filled rubber — standard pneumatic tires with inner tubes. They give a smoother ride for kids compared to solid rubber, which we don't use on this model.
Each bike comes in a single carton (PCS/CTN) with the frame, wheels, and handlebars separate, so they're about 80% assembled. You'll just need to attach the front wheel, pedals, and handlebars — no special tools required.
