That argon-arc welding on the frame is what really sets it apart, it gives you a much cleaner joint than the standerd CO2 welding you see on most budget kids' bikes, and honestly, we've been using it for the 12-inch and 16-inch models for years because of that it handles the daily abuse a lot better.

So most of our regulars are either running a small rental fleet or they're doing the whole custom build thing for local shops, and what they always ask first is if we can mix the alloy rims with the steel frame—yes, we can, and the 20-inch version is actually the one that gets that combo the most because the kids are riding it harder, but it adds roughly 0.3kg to the overall weight, give or take.

You'll want to decide on the chain cover early in the order because the full chain cover is better for the younger riders (the 12-inch and 16-inch) where little fingers are everywhere, but the 9-form cover looks cleaner on the 20-inch and gives you that more grown-up bike aesthetic—also, we can do the 3X or 4X paint finish, and teh 4X holds up noticeably better against scuffs, just a dirtier process to clean.

8 to 10 weeks is the usual lead time for a full custom run with the alloy wheels and a specific color like the hot pink, but if you order a standard color like red or blue with the plastic pedals and steel rims, we usually have stock and can ship in 20 days or so—just confirm the lead time when you place the PO.

One thing most buyers don't expect is that the suspension fork option actually adds about 1.5 inches to the front height on the 20-inch model, so if you're building for a kid who's right on the height edge between sizes, it can change the fit a bit, and it's not ideal for very young riders who don't need the extra play in the front end.
