If you're running a weight loss study and need consistent subcutaneous dosing, this is what we send to most labs—the metal body just holds up better than plastic when you're reusing it day after day.
It takes a standerd 3ml cartridge, and teh dosing accuracy is ±3% which is tighter than what you'll get form most disposable pens, and the injection time stays under 6 seconds per dose so subjects don't squirm.
bi-directional adjustment means you can dial up or down without clicking past your target, and the automatic reset is pretty much foolproof—it re-sets itself after each injection so there's no guesswork.
You'll get the pen itself in dark blue (we can do other colors but that's the default), a spare needle hub, and a simple instruction card; we usually have stock but confirm lead time if you need more than 50 units or so.
One thing buyers don't always think about—it only works with 31g or 32g needles (or smaller), so don't order 30g tips expecting them to fit, and it's really not suited for anything thicker than that.
It works with standard 3ml cartridges—no brand lock-in. Just make sure the cartridge fits the standard dimensions for 3ml insulin-style cartridges, and you're good.
At a 0.5ml dose, ±3% means the actual delivered dose could be between 0.485ml and 0.515ml. That's well within clinical study tolerances for most weight loss research protocols.
Dark blue is the default, but we can customize the color for larger orders—just let us know your Pantone or RAL code. Minimum order quantity for custom colors is typically 500 units.
Yes, we can supply a material certificate and a dosing accuracy test report per batch. Just request it when you place the order, and we'll include it with the shipment.
MOQ is 100 units, and lead time is about 15–20 working days for standard dark blue. If you need faster, we can sometimes expedite to 10 days for an extra fee—just ask.
