For smaller labs running initial studies the 2mg vials come in at £85 each, but if you're scaling up the 10mg works out to roughly £225 per vial — that's about 40% less per milligram, which most buyers pretty much go with once they've run a pilot batch.
Semaglutide CAS 2023788-19-2 with HPLC purity above 99%, it basically performs consistently batch to batch; teh solubility in water means you don't need special solvents for reconstitution, and molecular weight around 4114 g/mol gives you a decent handle on dosing for most rodent models.
What it does is mimic GLP-1 to slow gastric emptying and reduce appetite signalling, so it's better than some older peptides for metabolic syndrome research; but don't use it for acute toxicity screens or anything requiring rapid clearance — the half-life is pretty long, and you'll need to plan washout periods accordingly.
