I've seen some labs try this for weight management models, but honestly it's not ideal for that—the pharmacokinetics are pretty different in vivo than what we see in cell assays.
One thing I noticed when handling last batch: the powder can be electrostatic, so weigh it in a controlled humidity enviornment or use an antistatic spatula. Their pharmaceutical grade spec is supposed to be batch-to-batch consistent, which is why we're switching from a supplier who had more variability. We usually have stock, but confirm lead time on the first order.
