It’s basically sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol mixed in as a preservative — stops microbial growth in multi-dose vials, which is teh whole point for reconstitution work.
You’ll use this for peptide research where you’re pulling form the same vial across multiple sessions, and the benzyl alcohol lets you do that without recontamination worries. Plain saline won’t cut it here, and sterile water without preservative is a single-use gamble we don’t recommend — that stuff grows bugs after the first puncture.
Each 10ml vial comes sealed in a box of ten, pharmaceutical grade with >99.9% purity on the water side, and the balance is the benzyl alcohol at 0.9% by volume. CAS 7732-18-5 matches water, obviously, but the batch COA will also show the preservative concentration verified by HPLC — we send that with every order. Shelf life is 24 months stored at room temperture, just keep it out of direct light.
We usually have stock on this, but confirm lead time if you need more than 50 units or so — sometimes the bulk run takes an extra week for labeling. Payment is wire or credit card, and we ship via tracked courier with a TDS and SDS packed inside the box. 0.1 when opened, the rubber stopper reseals fine for roughly 20 punctures before degradation — a detail most spec sheets skip but you’ll notice handling it. Procurement folks appreciate we don’t spin limitations: the 0.9% benzyl alcohol concentration is fixed, so if your protocol calls for lower preservative, this won’t fit.

We sell by the box, so the minimum is 10 vials per box. You can order multiple boxes, but we don't break the box down for single vials.
