You’re looking at a load range of 100-500 kg with a maximum of 5 passengers, but the real limit is loading during wet use — the fiberglass handles about 1.5x the static rating before any microcracking shows up in the gel coat. We run a 24-hour water soak test at 40°C on every third unit, checking for blistering or delamination, and the CE mark covers the structural integrity for commerical parks.
Customiaztion means our company can adjust the slide radius, drop height, and exit angle, but the mold tooling for a one-off shape adds 3-4 weeks to lead time — standard curves are faster. Color matching to a RAL or Pantone is no problem, but metallics or pearlescent flakes require a 15% surcharge on the gel coat because the mica loading changes the spray viscosity.
The end style with a pool termination uses a submerged flange that bolts into a concrete basin, and we include stainlss steel inserts for the anchor points — no galvanic corrosion against the fiberglass. Without a pool, the slide terminates in a flat landing zone with a rubberized edge strip, but you’ll need to account for a 2-meter runout distance for adult riders.
Packing is bubble film and cotton cloth, which is fine for container shiping, but if you’re doing LTL freight, we recommend upgrading to a plywood crate — about 150 USD extra, and it prevents edge chipping during transfers. We usually have stock on DP-WSS0312P in the standard 6-meter length, but confirm lead time for custom sizes.
The pump is sold separately because most parks already have a filtration and recirculation system, and the slide’s water inlet is a 2-inch NPT fitting — pretty standard. Actually, one thing buyers don’t always ask about is the gel coat thickness; we target 0.5-0.7 mm, and anything below 0.4 mm will show fiber pattern after two seasons in high-traffic use.
