What it basically comes down to is that we retest any lot if it’s been in storage past the 18-month mark, even though teh stated stability is 24 months at -20°C protected from light, and we’ll send you the updated COA before dispatch so you’re not guessing.
The white lyophilized cake is pretty consistent form vial to vial — we’ve seen less than 0.5% variance in mass across a typical production run — and most buyers go with the 5mg or 10mg aliquots rather than bulk powder because reconstitution errors get magnified with larger vials.
Non-sterile is actually the default for research-grade peptides, so if your protocol demands sterile filtration you’ll need a 0.22μm syringe filter (usually PES or PTFE) during reconstitution, and our company can point you to buffer recommendations if you ask.
We don’t do minimum order quantities on the sealed vials — you can order a single 5mg unit or 50 units or so, but the lead time jumps to about 20 days when we’re restocking from the lyophilizer, so confirm stock before placing a large repeat order.
