We kept running into issues with field staff fumbling for the right button during critical comms, especially with gloves on or in noisy environments where you can't afford a missed transmission—so this PTT button with the 3.5mm jack was ordered to standardize across our teams.
Basically, it gives a positive tactile click every time you press, which means no guessing whether the call went through, and the 1.2m cable is usually long enough for most setups but our company can customize that for specific rigs (check lead time, we don't always have non-standard lengths on the shelf).
The button is 50,000 presses or so, which for our daily use should last a couple of years easy, and the IP54 rating means it handles dust and splashes without problems—though it's not for submersion, so keep that in mind for outdoor ops in heavy rain.
CE and ISO certs are fine for EU markets, and we've got RoHS docs ready for import compliance, but you'll need to confirm with your customs if they want anything else—usually teh COA and TDS are enough for standerd shipments.
We're supplying these for our UK and EU distribution channels, and the MOQ is pretty reasonable at 200 units for custom colors, though black is always in stock and ships faster—about 10-12 business days versus 20 for custom.
