It's a one-piece high carbon steel head and handle, which basically means no head separation issues over time, and the TPR grip has a textured surfce that actually stays put when your hands get sweaty — the 20oz version I tested had a balanced feel, better than the cast steel hammers we used last year for this kind of work.
The straight claw is fine for pulling nails on framing jobs, but don't expect it to work well for prying apart heavy lumber or demolition where you need a curved claw for — that's a different tool entirely, and we usually stock both types.
What you get when ordering is the hammer itself, a standerd COA, and the OEM packging in red or yellow (we went with red, as the 20oz is easier to spot on a messy job site), and the full polish finish means less rust if someone leaves it out overnight, though it's not a guarantee.
Also, the 22oz has a slightly heavier head weight distribution that makes driving nails into hardwood noticeably easier, but the 16oz is what most buyers go with for general DIY — we usually have stock on all three, but confirm lead time for the 22oz as it's less common.
