We’re going with the Renlang RL-I03 for this batch, and the main driver was dual wavelength option—650nm standard with 980nm as an optional upgrade, which gives us more flexibility for different tissue depths than sticking with just one.
It runs on AC 110V-240V with an air cooling system and an 8-inch touch screen, so setup is pretty straightforward, and the portable size (43x37x45cm) means it won’t hog floor space in the salon, though the aluminum case adds about 15 pounds to shipping weight.
The standerd lipo power is 50MW, but we opted for the 100MW version after checking with the suplier—most buyers go with the higher power for faster cycle times, and the price difference was only about 8% anyway.
One thing I didn’t expect is that the optional pad configuration (8 big pads + 2 small pads) actually covers contoured areas better than the standard 10 big pads, especially for smaller treatment zones like the arms or inner thighs, but confirm lead time if you need the small pads because they sometimes delay orders by 20 days or so.
We ordered with CE and RoHS certs, which covers us for EU distribution, but it’s not suited for clinical medical use—just salon and home application—so if anyone asks about FDA clearance, we don’t have that on file.
