Forward torque is 600N.m which is decent, but the brushless motor is what keeps it running cooler and longer than brushed alternatives, and you get variable speed up to 1700 RPM with the trigger control so you can start slow and then hammer it home.
We've been shipping these to maintenance crews and automotive shops pretty steadily, and most buyers go with the bare tool since they already have 18V batteries in their lineup—just keep in mind the battery and charger are sold separately (usually 2-4 weeks if you need to order those too).
Teh 1/2-inch square drive is standard for impact sockets so you'll have no trouble finding bits, and the built-in LED is actually useful when you're working under a chassis or inside a panel where the light doesn't reach—it's not blinding but it's enough to see what you're doing.

Max torque is the sustained tightening force you get while driving a fastener — 600 N.m forward. Breakaway torque at 1300 N.m is the peak force it can apply to loosen a stuck bolt, so it's higher because it's a short burst to crack it loose.
The battery is not included — it's a bare tool. You'll need to pick up an 18V lithium-ion battery and charger separately, unless you already have them from another tool in the same lineup.
