We’ve got some old Ford work trucks in the bay that no socket extension will break loose with anything less than this—460Nm is the kind of number you feel in your hands when you’re fighting rusted suspension bolts or stubborn flange nuts on heavy equiment. Your average cordless driver just spins and hums at that point, so if you’re dealing with 32mm bolts day in and out, you’ll probably want one in the kit anyway.
It’ll run you at 3300 RPM no-load, and impact rate hits 3200ipm, which means it’s actually not that slow for assembly work either, and the 88V lithium battery keeps the torque curve flat until the charge dips. What it does do is pretty straightforward—forward and reverse with a switch, you clamp a 1/2-inch drive socket on, and it spins off nuts in about a third of the time it takes an air ratchet. We usually have two batteries in the box, so while one’s on the charger (which runs on 100-240V AC, so plug it anywhere) you’re still working with the other.
though is it’s heavy at 3.5kg with battery—basically you’ll notice it after a dozen lug nuts, but the torque means you’re not leaning into it like a breaker bar. The motor housing is metal where it matters, but the handle grip is rubberized and comfortable enough for an hour of straight work. Most buyers go with the 460Nm model over the smaller 320Nm units because you don’t always know what’s overtightened (and a 32mm screw capacty covers almost everything on a semi truck).
It’s CE and RoHS certified (check lead time if you need specific documentation for a job site audit), but we don’t put a fancy cerification sticker on every unit we ship out. You’ll get it in a molded plastic carry case with foam inserts, clean enough for site storage, but the foam won’t survive a drop form a scaffold—just so you know. Color’s customizable if you’re ordering a fleet batch, obviously hitting typical warehouse MOQ for that, but individual units come in a black-and-orange combination that’s basically standerd now.
It handles passenger cars and light trucks easily. For heavy truck tires, you might need something stronger, as 460Nm is decent but not in the heavy-duty class.
The 88V battery is specific to this impact wrench model. It won't fit other BHP-PT tools unless they're designed for the same voltage.
Custom color orders usually take 30-45 days for production, plus shipping time. MOQ for custom color is 100 units, so 500 is no problem.
