It’s not the cable you spec for flexible cord applictions like extension leads or moving machinery—the PVC insulation gets stiff when cold and the soft conductor, while bendable, doesn’t have the fatigue life for repeated flex cycles; where it actually fits is inside switchgear cabinets, buried underground ducts, and industrial power stations where the cable stays put after instalation, and it meets IEC, ISO, and CCC certification so you can pass inspection without hassle.
Ordering is straightforward but the MOQ sits at 100 meters, which is typical for supply—lead time runs 15 to 30 days depending on whether you need a standard gauge like 2.5mm² single core (which we usually have in stock) or a custom color and core count that requires a production run, and payment goes via T/T.
We’ve seen buyers ask for the 400mm² in a 5-core configuration for a power station feeder, and what they don’t always think about is the bend radius—at that gauge, the cable is heavy and rigid enough that you need a proper radius to avoid crushing the PVC, so plan your conduit bends accordingly or you’ll fight it on site.
Also, the packaging is customiezd to your reel size—some shops want 500-meter drums, others want 100-meter coils—but just note that for multi-core cables over 10 cores, the drum weight climbs fast, so confirm shipping method if you’re ordering bulk.
