We've seen detection out to about 5km in open terrain, though buildings and trees can drop it to 3km or so. 360-degree horizontal coverage means you don't have to aim it anywhere. It basically lets you know where a drone is within ≤3° accuracy within a second.

The 13.3-inch screen is pretty easy to read in direct sunlight, actually. You can set up black and white lists for known serial numbers or models. That way you don't waste time on a neighbor's toy quadcopter when you're looking for something else.

It needs to stay passive—no transmissions at all—so it's basically listening on any frequency between 300MHz and 6000MHz. What it does is it identifies drone by its signal, not by visual sighting. That's a different approach form radar-based systems, and in most cases it means no interference with other gear you might have running.

One thing most buyers don't think to ask: it runs about 5 hours on battery, but if you plug into 220V AC, it'll go all day. The IP65 rating means you can leave it out in light rain—just don't submerge it. It's about 15kg, so one person can lift it, but you'll want a second pair of hands for teh carrying case (which we include).

A basic unit is typically a single-band model covering 300MHz-6000MHz, which works for roughly 95% of consumer and prosumer drones we've encountered. Military-grade signals can sometimes fall above that, but we don't recommend this for those appliction anyway—you'd need a different system. We usually stock the YT-ZC03, but confirm lead time for specific blacklist programming if you really need custom filtering.
We typically require a minimum order of 10 units for the YT-ZC03, but we can discuss smaller batches for first-time buyers or demo purposes.
Lead time is usually 15-20 working days for standard orders. If you need it faster, we can prioritize production for an additional fee.
Yes, it comes with CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. We also provide a test report for each unit upon request.
Absolutely. You can pre-load a list of drone IDs or frequency bands during setup. We can also help configure it for your specific needs before shipping.
The 15kg weight covers the whole device including the battery. It's designed for portable field use, but you might want a cart or two people to move it around.
