Most buyers are oral surgeons doing implants or endodontists needing bitewing shots, but we've seen general practitioners grab them for pedo patients who can't hold still—the exposure time is that short, 0.2 seconds flat if you want it. Works with digital sensors or phosphor plates, though honestly the focus size of 1.5mm or 0.8mm matters more for teh finer diagnostics. Not ideal for full-mouth surveys every day, you'd want a wall-mounted unit for that throughput.

Anyway, the a year on parts and labor (unusual for a portable unit, most give you 6 months), and our company provide techncial support for 8 years—that's parts availability and phone trouble-shooting. Lead time is usually 20 days or so after order, but we do keep about 15 units in a warehose for quick shipment. One detail people don't think to ask: the pneumatic lift seat is genuinely helpful for working on patients in wheelchairs or kids, you can crank that seat up or down quick without electricity. Weighs 50kg but the wheels are smooth on tile, not so great on thick carpet—you might want to keep that in mind for the operatory floor. Also the dimensions are roughly 1440mm tall by 500mm wide, so measure your doorways first; we had a buyer who couldn't fit it through a standard 30-inch door.
