UMG dental diamond burs are manufactured using advanced multi-plating technology with diamond particles, ensuring consistent performance and durability. The shanks are constructed from top-grade stainless steel, offering high tensile strength, resistance to breaking or bending, and rust prevention.
These dental burs are designed for finishing, carving, and smoothing delicate parts of various dental workpieces. They are suitable for steel teeth, steel frames, inner steel crowns (not for outer crown surfaces), porcelain teeth, resin teeth, and resin bases. The goal is to deliver superior quality with higher grinding efficiency and longer service life.
Quality control is rigorous, with 100% inspection using laser measurement machines, cutting tests, and strength tests for each lot. All products meet internal standards that exceed ISO requirements, specifically ISO 806 for diamond, ISO 807 for sintered diamond, and ISO 500 for carbide.
Usage guidelines include inserting the shank fully into the handpiece as per manufacturer instructions, checking for centering before use, always using a spray, maintaining a plentiful water supply to prevent loading and pulpitis, applying pressure of 20-50p for instruments up to 023 diameter, and adhering to maximum RPM limits to avoid injury. Safety measures such as wearing glasses or masks are recommended, and sterilization should avoid high-pressure steam over 200°C. Proper disposal as medical waste is advised after use.
Rotation speed and maximum RPM vary by head diameter, ensuring optimal performance for different applications. For example, head diameters from 008-010mm have a rotation scope of 75,000-150,000 shifts/minute and a max speed of 450,000 shifts/minute, while larger diameters like 200-220mm have lower ranges.
