The copper core gives you that ≤5mΩ contact resisance value we typically see holding steady through temperature cycling from -40°C to 105°C, and the nylon jacket doesn't get brittle or melt within that range—we've run thermal shock tests on a few batches just to be sure, and it's pretty much consistent across the board.
