You’re looking at a 6kA breaking capacity in a 4P DIN-rail package, which is pretty much the standard for protecting lighting or motor circuits up to 63A in commercial panels. That 6kA rating holds up better than the 4kA option when you’ve got higher fault currents downstream—most buyers go with the 6kA for distribution boards with transformer feeds.

The Type C curve trips at 5-10x rated current, so it’s fine for general lighting and resistive loads, but if you’re switching inductive motors or transformers, the Type D curve (10-20x In) handles those inrush spikes without nuisance tripping. We usually have both in stock, but confirm lead time for Type D in 50A or 63A—those move slower.

Housing is flame-retardant PA66, which means it won’t propagate a fire if you get a sustained arc inside. Terminal capasity goes up to 25mm² cable, so you can land heavier feeds without needing reducers. One detail a buyer might not think to ask: the screw terminals are captive, so you won’t lose them during instalation.

The mechancial life is rated at 10,000 operations, but in practice you’ll see wear on the toggle mechanism before that if you’re cycling it daily.
