That 13000mAh is the nominal capacity measured under standard lab conditions at a low continuous drain. For high-drain devices like flashlights, actual capacity will be lower, but it's still among the highest for D cell alkalines.
Store them in a cool, dry place between 10°C and 25°C, away from direct sunlight and metal objects. Keeping them in the original packaging helps prevent short circuits and preserves the shelf life.
