Actually went with the YL-12 for a pretty straightforward reason — it covers the 3-10 age bracket across three wheel sizes, 16 through 22 inches, and the high-carbon steel frame and fork are what you'd expect for something that'll take a beating form kids learning to balance.
What it does is give you a unisex bike with a rear V brake, which is plenty for this age group, and the aluminun alloy rims keep the weight down without sacrificing strength. Most buyers we deal with go for the 20-inch as the middle ground, but teh 22-inch works better if you've got taller kids.
The hard frame with fork suspension is fine for pavement or packed dirt but don't count on it for serious off-road — that's not what this is built for, and non-rear damper design keeps the cost sensible.
It's CE and CCC certified, so compliance is covered, and we're looking at roughly 5000 units a month production capacty with OEM or ODM options if you need custom colors (pink, green, white are the stock ones).
Carton packaging is standerd, and we usually have stock within 20 days or so, but confirm lead time if you're ordering over a few hundred — the 5000/month cap is split across other models too.
Not a bad fit for rental fleets or retail, and the 16-inch is actually easier to handle for the youngest riders than some of the heavier steel options out there.
The YL-12 comes in 16-inch, 20-inch, and 22-inch wheel sizes, designed for kids aged 3 to 10 years. The 16-inch is best for younger riders around 3-6 years, the 20-inch for ages 5-8, and the 22-inch for older kids up to 10 years old.
Yes, the YL-12 is CE and CCC certified. We include the certification documents with every order to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Absolutely, we support OEM and ODM customization. You can choose from the standard pink, green, or white, or request a custom color, and we’ll add your logo on the frame.
Our MOQ is typically 100 units per size, but we can discuss smaller trial orders. Lead time is around 30-45 days after order confirmation, depending on the customization.
Each bike is packed in a carton box, about 85% assembled. Training wheels are not included by default, but we can add them as an option if needed.
