We've got a run of 10,000 fabric snowmen going out for a hotel chain that wants them on every floor's reception desk by mid-November, and they're doing same with resin nutcrackers for the lobby — it's a mix of indoor and outdoor pieces since some of those fabric ones end up on exterior window displays, which means weather resistance is actually a thing our company have to spec for, though the buyer's not asking about UV degradation yet.
The model number 10-fabric covers a broad range, basically everything from plush Santas to felt garlands, and the materail options are fabric, resin, ceramic, plastic, glass, metal, wood — we usually run ceramic as a separate line because the breakage rate in transit is higher, but for resin you're looking at about 15-20 days from sample approval to first shipment (check lead time on custom colors though, that can stretch it).
3D design files are what most buyers send us for OEM work, and we've done everything from a 2-meter fiberglass reindeer for a mall to tiny glass ornaments for a boutique — the HS code is 9505100090, and we have sample availability pretty much year-round, but don't expect the sample to match production perfectly if you're doing a custom color match because the dye lots vary by batch.
Also, this isn't really suited for edible decorations or anything food-contact, despite the "all ages" note on the spec sheet — some of the smaller resin pieces have sharp edges that we flag before shiping, and the fabric ones use a flame retardant coating that's standard for indoor use but we usually have stock, so confirm lead time if you're ordering 20,000 units or so.
The production capasity is large enough that our company can handle a 50,000-piece order for a big-box retailer without a problem, but what it does is it pushes the smaller custom runs to the back of the queue — about 45 days for th versus 20 days for a 5,000-piece run, and you'll want to specify packaging early because standard carton is fine for warehouse delivery but custom packaging adds another week.
