Most buyers we deal with end up ordering these in bulk for radiology departments, and what it does is give you consistent backlighting for X-ray films—no hot spots or flickering, which matters when you're reading subtle density differences in a chest film or an ortho series.
The single viewing area is 428×348mm, so that's roughly 17×14 inches, and the double and triple sizes just stack that same panel width—428×698mm and 428×1048mm respectively—and we usually have the triple in stock, but confirm lead time on the others (typically 2-4 weeks or so).
It's basically a white LED light source, not fluorescent, so you're not dealing with warm-up delay or color shift over time, and color temperture stays neutral enough for true film representation—better than some older units we've seen on the market.
10 units per carton, carton dimensoins 40×36×28cm, and we ship form China with CE and ISO13485:2016 certs on file—just ask for the COA if you need it for your compliance audit.
One thing we don't recommend is using it for wet films right out of the processor—moisture can fog the diffuser over time, so let them dry first.
Anyway, OEM service is availble if you need custom branding or a slightly different panel size, but the standerd triple is what most clinics go with for general radiology work.
