We've got a few labs that need this for pigmentation pathway work, and they're usually running it alongside other melanocortin agonists—basically the 10mg vials are the standdard for small-scale studies.
It's got a CAS of 121062-08-6 with a molecular weight of 1024.18, and the HPLC shows purity at 99% or better, which is tighter than most generic peptide supliers can guarantee for this analogue. The white powder form is what you'd expect, and it's soluble in water so reconstitution is straightforward for injection or cell-based assays. Storage is 2-8°C in a dry place—room tempearture will degrade it in 20 days or so.
What it's not suited for is any kind of human use, obviously, since it's research grade only and we don't have COA for clinical safety. Most buyers go with teh 10mg format because of that it's easier to aliquot than larger bulk sizes, and we usually have stock but confirm lead time if you need over 50 units. One thing a buyer might not think to ask: the lyophilized powder can clump if exposed to humidity, so keep the desiccant sealed.
Anyway, I ordered it because the MOQ was reasonable and the HPLC data on the last batch was consistent. We'll have it in 3-5 business days.
