We've been running into variability with some of the cheaper GLP-1 agonists on the market, and honestly, the inconsistent results were costing us more in reruns than we saved on raw material — so I went with the 99% purity grade here, which is better than reagent grade for this type of dose-response work.
CAS is 910463-68-2, white powder as expected, and it's pharmaceutical grade so the impurity profile is tighter than what you'd get form a standard synthesis house, usually around 2-8°C storage after opening, and they package it in a vial with a carton, which is fine for our lab's cold storage setup.
It's a GLP-1 receptor agonist, so it's primarily for glucose control and weight management studies, but we're using it specifically for obesity research in rodent models, not diabetes, and it's not suited for anything involving human subjects or consumption obviously.
Also, they offer custom pricing options for bulk orders, so if we scale up to the 50-unit or so range, teh per-milligram cost drops noticeably, and they can do OEM labeling if we ever need to blind the study or standardize packging across batches.
Lead time was about 20 days or so from order to delivery, which is pretty standard, but we usually have stock on the 10mg vials so confirm if you need a rush — the MOQ was reasonable for a research order, and they included the COA with HPLC data, though I'd still run our own QC on the first batch.
