We've been getting a lot of requests for something that bridges the gap between a basic power wheels jeep and those expensive, hobby-grade tracked vehicles, and this tank pretty much nails that middle ground for the 3-8 year old crowd.
It runs on a 24V system with two 12V12AH batteries in series, which gives you roughly double the runtime of the usual single-battery setups—most buyers find they get about an hour of mixed use before needing a charge. The motors are 555*2, so it's not going to climb a rock wall, but it handles grass and packed dirt better than the standerd plastic-wheeled alternatives.
Teh 2.4G remote is actually useful here because you can lock the top speed to the lowest setting (about 5 km/h) for a toddler, then gradually open it up as they get confident—three speed options total, from 5 to 7 km/h. And the soft start/stop is a nice detail; it eliminates that jerky lurch you get with cheaper models that just slam power on or off.
What you get in the box is the tank (28 kg net, so it's solid), a remote, and the battery pack—but it ships in a 103*62.5*32.5 cm carton, which is shorter than you'd expect for a 125 cm long vehicle, so (check lead time) we usually have stock but confirm before ordering if you're on a tight schedule. It's not really suited for indoor use unless you have a very large room, given the turning radius.
Also has Bluetooth and an MP3 player built into the control panel, which is a nice bonus for distracting a kid during a long session, though honestly the 360° rotation feature is what most kids actually play with—it's a gimmick but it works. The simulated tracks are plastic with rubber-like materail, so they do leave marks on hardwood floors, something to keep in mind for indoor use.
Available in Desert Yellow or Army Green, and optional EVA wheels are worth it if you're buying for a heavier kid (over 30 kg or so), as the standard plastic ones can get a bit wobbly on rough terrain. CE and ASTM certs are on file, and our company can provide the COA with each shipment—better documentation than most wholesale toy suppliers offer for this price point.
