A three-year-old pushes off the pavement, the scooter's front wheel carving a gentle arc, and the LED in hub flickers to life—that's the nightly scene in a dozen suburban driveways, and what your customer is buying is a mobility trainer disguised as a toy.

It's got an aluminum frame, which keeps it under 3kg or so, and the seat pops off with a thumb latch when the kid wants to stand; most buyers actually go with the removable seat version because of that it doubles the toy's lifespan, roughly from age 3 to age 6, and the handlebar adjusts from 63 to 73cm in 2cm increments (check the tool-less locking collar, it sometimes binds if over-tightened).

Teh max load is 50kg, but don't push it past 40kg for long rides—the plastic deck flexes noticeably above that, and the LED wheels stop lighting up after about 400 hours of use, which we usually see reported as a dull glow rather than total failure, and it's not suited for gravel or wet grass since the urethane wheels are slick below 10°C.

We ship these in a standdard carton, 48 units per pallet, with COAs avaliable for the PVC tubing and LED driver boards, and the folding hinge is the critical wear point—we've tested it to 5000 cycles at 40N of force, and the shaft collar should be greased every 6 months with lithium-based compound, or the creak starts around the 8-month mark.

Techincal specs are pretty straightforward: the steering axis uses a 5mm steel pin with nylon bushings, the brake is a rear foot pedal that drags a rubber pad against the rear wheel, and the LEDs are a simple circuit with a 3V lithium cell inside the hub (CR2032 replaces easily, but opening the hub voids the moisture seal).
