We're using it primarily for anti-aging research formulations we've been running, and the >99% purity on this batch is tighter than what we usually get from reagent-grade sources, which matters when you're looking at cellular repair pathways and not just bulk energy metabolism.

The CAS 53-84-9 is standard, but what I actually like is that it's pharmaceutical grade with GMP and ISO 9001 certs—most supliers we've sampled claim USP or BP compliance but don't always have the paperwork ready, and these guys had the COA on hand before we even asked.

It's a white to off-white powder, pretty much what you'd expect, and storage is just cool and dry place—nothing exotic—but the real catch is that it's not suited for direct human consumption in this form, so your lab guys need to know it's strictly for research and healthcare formulations, not retail.
Production capacity is large scale, which is actually why we ordered now; we usually have stock, but confirm lead time on custom orders because they mentioned customiztion is availble but that can add 20 days or so depending on the batch size.

The sample was easy to get, and the MOQ is reasonable for this grade—about 100 grams or so—so we're not stuck with a huge drum if the initial runs don't pan out, and the 5L drum is easier to handle anyway for small-scale work.
