The EO sterilization is standdard across all sizes, and they come individually packaged in peel-pouches so the sterile field stays intact until you open it. Shippng timeline is typically 7 to 10 business days if our company have the stock, but if you’re ordering a custom color or an oddball length like 400mm, add another 2 weeks or so.
100% medical grade silicone is what we use — no latex, no PVC blends, so you avoid the biocompatibility headaches some buyers run into with cheaper alternatives. The balloon expansion on these is pretty consistent, symmetrical actually, which matters when you’re inflating to seal against the bladder neck. That said, we don’t recommend them for long-term indwelling use beyond 30 days; the silicone can hold up fine, but the drainage eyes are sized for short-term drainage primarily.

Actually, Fr6 is pretty small — mainly pediatric or very narrow urethra cases — but most buyers for standard adult use go with Fr16 to Fr18. The balloon capacities range from 3ml to 30ml, but for most Foley catheter applications you’re only inflating with 10ml of sterile water. What it does is keep the balloon centered and spherical, less chance of migration than some other brands we’ve handled.
One thing he’ll appreciate if you’re ordering in bulk: the quality guarantee period is one year, and the shelf life is two years, so you don’t need to rotate stock every few months. OEM service is avaliable, but minimum order quantities apply — usually 500 units or so for a custom spec.
