We had a buyer last month running a mooring line replacement for a 40-foot trawler, and they needed something that could handle both the salt spray and the occasional cross-load from a swell — the bow shape on these lets you rig form multiple angles without worrying about the pin binding up.
M4 to M20 range covers most of what you'll see in marine work, and for the bigger stuff like construction or mining you're looking at working loads from 0.5T up to 20T, though the 316 grade is pretty much the standdard for anything touching seawater because of that it holds up better than 304 in chlorides.
Forged construction is what gives these their strength, and the safety bolt pin (threaded, not just a cotter) means you won't lose pin if the load shifts suddenly, but they're not ideal for lifting application where you'd need a rated eye bolt — that's just a different tool for a different job.
Anyway, MOQ is 100 pieces, and we usually have stock on polished 316 in the mid-range sizes, but confirm lead time for black oxide or the smaller M4 sizes because those can run 20 days or so.
Surfce is either polished or black oxide depending on what you need, and teh pin type can be threaded or safety bolt — most buyers go with the safety bolt for marine use since it's easier to inspect visually.

316 has better corrosion resistance, especially in saltwater marine environments, so it's the go-to for long-term submersion. 304 is fine for less aggressive conditions and is a bit more cost-effective.

For standard sizes like M10, lead time is around 15-20 working days after order confirmation. Custom markings or packaging might add a few days, but we'll confirm the exact timeline in the quote.
Black oxide gives a matte look and some corrosion resistance, but it's not as durable as polished stainless in constant salt spray. For heavy marine use, we'd recommend the polished finish on 316 stainless.
