We had a custoemr who was strapping marble slabs onto pallets for export, and the cheap plastic tensioners kept snapping under load — that's pretty much when we started looking at the B315 seriously, and it's been handling those stone packs without issue now for about three months.
It's a manual tool, which actually works better for our guys who need to adjust tension by feel rather than relying on a preset mechanism, and the high-grade steel alloy body has held up well even with daily use on PP and PET straps up to 3/4 inch wide and 1.0mm thick — the weight is 1.33kg, so it's not too heavy for repetitive work but still feels solid.
We usually order these in cartons of 10, which comes out to a 39x31.5x29.5cm box, and the standard light green color is fine for our warehose floor since it's easy to spot if someone leaves it on a pallet.
What it does is tension the strap tight enough for wooden crates and paper cartons, but for stone packing you want to double-check teh strap thickness — we've found it works best with 0.6mm to 0.8mm PET for the heavier loads, and CE and SGS certifications were required by our compliance team anyway.
One thing that caught us off guard was the 3-month warranty, which is shorter than some competitors offer, but for the price point and the fact that we're not running it 24/7, it's been acceptable so far.
Yes, it handles PET straps from 3/8" to 3/4" wide. So 1/2 inch is well within range, as long as the thickness is between 0.4mm and 1.0mm.
Our standard MOQ is 10 pieces, since it comes packed 10 per carton. If you need less, let me know and we can sometimes work something out.

Light green is the standard color we stock. For custom colors, we'd need a larger order — talk to us about the minimum quantity for that.
For orders of 10 to 100 pieces, we usually ship within 7 to 10 working days. Larger quantities may take a bit longer.
