Look, I'll be straight with you—the MOQ of 1000pcs might be a bit steep if you're just testing the waters, but for schools or distributors placing regular orders, it's pretty standard and we can usually split it into mixed batches of different color sets if that helps.
We've been making these base 10 blocks for years, and what most buyers don't realize is that teh injection mold itself is the real cost driver, so once you've committed to a design—whether it's PVC or ABS (we recommend ABS for school use because of that it's tougher)—the per-unit price drops significantly after the first run.
Roughly 80% of our clients go with ABS or GPPS for the blocks themselves and use PVC for carrying cases or blister cards, and we can emboss your logo right onto each hundred block or print it on the OPP bag—just let us know which suface you want it on.
The EN71 and ASTM certifications cover the non-toxic angle well enough for most schools, but if you need REACH or PAHS for European markets, those are included in the standard testing package—just don't expect the same specs as, say, food-grade silicone (these are learning tools, not teething toys).
We usually have stock of plain blocks in standard colors, but for custom Pantone matches or embossing, figure on 20 days or so lead time after mold approval; also, the 1cm cube units (the ones that represent one) are honestly a little fiddly but neccessary for the whole place value system to work.
Anyway, the 5L blister card option is easier to display on classroom shelves than the bulk OPP bag, but if you're shiping to multiple schools, the gift box setup actually saves you on breakage—we've had a few returns form that, so worth mentioning.

The MOQ of 1000pcs applies to the total order quantity. If you need multiple colors, we can split the 1000pcs across color options, but each color should have at least a reasonable minimum to make production efficient.

Yes, we can print, emboss, or deboss your logo. There's typically a one-time mold modification fee for embossing/debossing, but we'll include that in the tooling cost—just clarify your preference when you place the order.
Standard packaging options are OPP bag, gift box, or blister card. For classroom sets, bulk OPP bags work well and keep costs down—just specify that when ordering, and we'll adjust the packaging accordingly.
