Every unit goes through a 48-hour burn-in test before it leaves, cycling the chair through full range of motion at least 200 times under load. We pull a random sample from each production batch — usually 3 units out of 50 — and run them through a 72-hour continuous duty cycle, checking for voltage drift and hydraulic leaks at 40°C ambient. The LED lamp gets its own test: we measure lux output at 70cm distance across nine grid points, and anything below 20,000 lux gets rejected. You get a COA with each chair, but we also keep batch samples for 18 months in case you need a retest.
It's not for implant surgery or anything requiring sub-millimeter positioning accuracy — the frame is aluminun, not steel, so there's minor flex under load above 120kg. That said, the 24V DC motor is pretty much silent below 45dB at full tilt, and the ceramic spittoon holds up better than the plastic ones we've seen in other budget chairs. We've had buyers run these in mobile clinics for about 2 years now without motor failures, though the PU leather starts showing wear around the headrest after 18 months of daily use — that's typical for this price point.
ISO 13485 and CE certifictes are issued per batch, not per unit, so make sure your customs broker knows that. The retest policy is straightforward: if your unit fails within 14 days of delivery, we cover return shippng and send a replacement from the same batch number. After that, you're looking at a 1-year warranty on parts, but we usually have stock of common spares (foot pedal switches, LED drivers) ready to ship within 48 hours. The operating temperature range is 5°C to 40°C — we've tested these down to 2°C in our cold chamber, but below that the hydraulic oil thickens noticeably.
We don't test every single foot pedal function at the factory, which sounds bad but actually isn't — the 6-in-1 unit shares the same PCB design as our higher-end models, so failure rates are under 0.5% base on field returns. What we do test is the emergency stop: it gets slammed 50 times per unit during the burn-in. Also, the double purified water system gets pressure-tested at 500kPa for 15 minutes, which is above the spec of 200-400kPa.
Packing dimensoins are 130 by 100 by 110 centimeters, and the gross weight hits 200kg — you'll need a pallet jack, not a hand truck. Most buyers go with the white frame option because of that it hides dust better than teh silver, but the color doesn't affect the warranty either way.
Our standard MOQ is 5 units for the ADS-D3, but we can accommodate smaller trial orders for new distributors. Just reach out and we'll work something out.
The ADS-D3 is ISO and CE certified, and we'll provide the certification copies with your shipment. Let us know if you need any additional compliance paperwork.
Yes, the LED lamp has adjustable brightness levels to suit different procedures, with a color temperature around 5000K for natural daylight simulation. It's built to last with low heat output.
The unit packs into a single crate measuring 130*100*110cm, with a net weight of 160kg and gross weight of 200kg. It's securely foam-packed for safe transport.
The chair is rated for a maximum bearing capacity of 135 kg, so we don't recommend exceeding that for safety and durability. The aluminum frame is lightweight but designed for this load limit.
