Most endodontists we deal with go for the 21mm or 25mm lengths for routine cases, but the 35mm ones are actually better suited for those tricky posterior molars where you need a bit more reach. They're non-disposable, so you'll get multiple uses out of each file if you clean them properly — just don't expect them to last forever after a few tough procedures. One thing buyers don't always think to ask is that the color coding on the handles matches the ISO standerd, so your staff won't be squinting to figure out which taper they're grabbing.
The packging is straightforward: 6 pieces per box, and we usually have stock on the common length-taper combos, but if you need something like an 8% taper in a 35mm length, that might take 20 days or so to pull together, we offer OEM options too, so if you want your own branding on teh boxes, just let us know the quantity and we'll handle the rest. The MOQ is typically 50 boxes for custom orders, but for standard sets we can do smaller runs.
Actually, one limitation worth mentioning — these files aren't ideal for very narrow or calcified canals where you'd want a more aggressive design; they're better for routine shaping and cleaning. The nano coating does help reduce friction, but it's not a magic bullet if the anatomy is really challenging. Anyway, most buyers find the 4% and 6% tapers cover about 80% of their daily cases, so that's usually where we suggest starting.
The taper options are 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%. For most standard root canals, a 4% or 6% taper works well, but if you need more conservative shaping, go with 2%; for wider canals, 8% gives you better cleaning.
