We got the RFQ in from the distribution side yesterday, and BC430 aluminum trimmer head pretty much ticks all their boxes for a standard replacement part — the 6-inch or 8-inch diameter options cover what most of their crews run, and the metal construction is a step up from the plastic ones they've been burning through.
The 6-inch version is easier to handle for lighter brush, but the 8-inch gives you more reach and a wider cut path, so we're ordering the 8-inch for now since they're mostly doing roadside clearing, not precision trimming around flower beds.
It's compatble with all normal brush cutters (usually a universal mount), but we always confirm fitment with the suppiler — they mentioned the CE cert is current, and we've got the COA on hand for the aluminum alloy used on the casting, which is better than some off-brand heads that warp after a season.
Color options are grey, red, green, or blue — we're going with grey for the first run because of that it's what they specified, and the OEM/ODM customization is available if we want to rebrand later, but that's not urgent right now.
The transport packaing is a standard carton, and we're ordering 50 units or so for the initial batch to test turnover — lead time is roughly 20 days from China, but we usually have stock ready within that window, so confirm before locking in the ship date.
One thing to watch: this head is designed for gasoline-powered brush cutters, not electric models, so if any of their crews switch to battery gear down the line, they'll need a different setup, but for now it's a solid fit.
Our MOQ for the BC430 is typically 500 pieces, but we can discuss smaller trial orders if you're just getting started.
