You’re probably wondering about customiztion first, since that’s where most of our orders start—our company can do custom vial sizes if you need smaller or larger batches, and we’ll slap your own label on them without any hassle, concentration tweaks are no problem at all, and for bulk synthesis we’ve handled runs up to several kilos without breaking a sweat, basically it’s a solid wood and MDF frame with water-based paints that are safety-certified under ASTM, EN71, and SGS, designed to help toddlers from six months up to ten years old with lacing and buttoning skills.

We see these go mostly to daycare centers and early childhood educators who want something durable that kids can’t wreck in a week, but also to parents buying for home use—something 85% of our orders in last year were for the painted versions rather than natural wood, probably because bright colors hold attention better, but the natural finish is actually easier to clean, and it’s pretty much a must for Montessori classrooms.

The dressing frame isn’t great for water play or outdoor use since MDF doesn’t handle moisture well, and the laces themselves are cotton which can fray after a few months of heavy use, but replacements are cheap and we can supply extra sets for about a dollar each. (check our lead time on that though, it’s usually 2-4 weeks for small parts). Also, the weight per carton is around 15kg, so shiping costs stay reasonable even for large orders.

500 pieces is our minimum per design, but if you go with one of our stock patterns that lead time drops to just 7 days, while custom shapes and sizes run 35 to 40 days form approval, and you can fit about 9600 pieces on a 20-foot container if you’re buying bulk. We usually have stock on the standerd dressing frames—the button and lace varieties—but confirm lead time for the buckle sets, those sell out fast in the third quarter.
