The 10.5 by 8.5 centimeter base is wider than most cheap options, which means it stands up on tabletops without the customers' kids knocking it over accidentally, and we regularly ship full 40-foot containers — about 10905 sets per container — to distributors in Germany and UK who sell out by the second week of December.
Now, teh paint job matters more than you'd think because if the red and gold chip off easily you'll get returns, but we run REACH and EN71 tests (we've got the COAs to show you) and the pine wood takes the paint well since it's kiln-dried first — that's something importers usually don't realize adds about 4 days to our lead time.
3760 sets fit in a twenty-footer but honestly most wholesalers go with the larger container because the shippng cost per unit drops roughly 12% and you're probably ordering over 5000 pieces anyway if you're serious, and that MOQ is non-negotiable for this model because the production run needs to justify the mold setup for the nutcracker's jaw mechanism.
We just need a 30% deposit to start, then the balance against the bill of lading copy — it's pretty standerd and you'll have stock in about 30 days give or take depending on Chinese New Year, (which we'll factor into the production calendar upfront).
Also, this isn't suited for food service kitchens or anything like that because the coating we use is decorative-grade lacquer, but for the average chain store display or boutique Christmas pop-up it holds up perfectly.
The MOQ is 5000 pieces. That's about 417 cartons, which is a bit more than a 20' container can hold, so it works well for a full container load.
Lead time is 30 days from when we receive the 30% deposit. We'll then ship within that window.
Yes, we have EN71, REACH, and ASTM certifications for this model. We can share the test reports and certificates upon request.
Each nutcracker comes in its own box, then 12 boxes go into a carton. Carton size is 42x37.5x40.5 cm, with a gross weight of 8 kg.
We can do custom packaging, like adding your logo on the box. For design changes to the nutcracker itself, that depends on the MOQ and tooling costs, so feel free to discuss your needs with us.
