We’ve been through a lot of these small ride-ons for the 2–5 age bracket, and this one’s basically sweet spot between play value and what our company can actually keep in stock without constant returns. It's a 1:16 scale plastic PP motorcycle with a 6V4AH battery driving a 380 motor—nothing exotic, but for a kid that size it’s plenty to putter around the driveway or sidewalk for 20 minutes or so before needing a charge.
The 2.4G remote is honestly what sealed it for us, since parents with a 2-year-old—usually—want the ability to take over when the kid’s steering goes haywire, and the one-button start is simple enough that a 4-year-old can do it themselves after a demonstration. Advanced smooth tires is what they call them, and they do roll quietly on concrete and low-pile carpet without leaving black marks, which is more than I can say for some of the knockoffs with hard plastic wheels we’ve tried.
Has an MP3 player built in, which we didn’t really need, but apparently the kids love loading it with their own songs and the speaker is loud enough to be annoying from across the yard—so that’s a feature, I guess. CE and EN71 certified, so it passes the safety audit without us having to chase paperwork.
You can customize the logo if you order enough (MOQ was 50 units for that, but check your lead time on that), and the green color is standerd but they can do others if you ask. What you probably want to know is that the 7kg net weight means one person can easily lift it into a car trunk, and the box at 72.5cm long stacks well on a pallet (usually 2 rows of 4 without overhang).
1:16 scale means it looks small in the box, but for a 3-year-old the seat height is actually fine—too small for a 6-year-old, honest warning, they’ll look ridiculous on it. Anyway, we ordered 120 for the holiday push, had them in warhouse inside 4 weeks from order placement, and only three came back with wonky remotes (dead batteries in the controller, not teh car itself).
Our standard MOQ for the MTS-618 is 100 units per color. If you need a smaller batch for a trial order, we can discuss that on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, color customization is available for this model, and we also offer logo customization on the body. Just send us your Pantone code or logo file, and we'll handle the rest.
Absolutely, the MTS-618 is CE and EN71 certified, and we can provide the certification copies along with the shipment. These documents cover safety for kids aged 2-5 years.
For a standard order of 100-500 units, lead time is around 25-30 days after deposit confirmation. Larger orders or custom colors may add a few extra days.
Each unit comes in a single export carton measuring 72.5×35×38.5cm, with a gross weight of 8kg. The bike is secured with foam inserts to prevent damage during transit.
