A parent watching their kid zoom around cul-de-sac at 21 km/h is exactly the kind of scenario this was built for, and that top speed is actually teh highest of three selectable modes—10, 15, or 21 km/h—so a beginner can start slow and work their way up.
We've been shippng these for a while now, and what it does is give you a 200W motor paired with a 24V 5.2Ah lithium battery that'll run for about 60 minutes or so depending on terrain and rider weight, which is pretty good for a bike this size.
The whole frame is alumnum alloy, so it's light at 10kg (roughly 22 pounds), but the 12-inch wheels and 420mm seat height mean it's actually sized for a 3-to-8-year-old, not just a scaled-down adult bike—the ground clearance is 130mm, which helps on grass or dirt paths.
Charging takes about 3 hours, and you'll want to keep an eye on that because the battery isn't removable, so the bike has to come inside or into the garage, and it's not really suited for heavy rain or puddles even though it's CE certified.
Most buyers go with the yellow color, and we usually have stock on that one, but if you need a different color or a specific batch with tighter tolerances on the speed controller, just let us know and our company can check—lead time is typically 2-4 weeks for custom orders.
You can switch between them using a button on the handlebar. Start with 10 km/h for beginners, then move up as your child gets more confident. The 21 km/h mode is for experienced riders on open, safe roads.
Yes, every BB01 ships with a CE certificate included in the box. It covers the whole bike, not just the battery or motor.
We only produce the BB01 in yellow, and it doesn't come with training wheels. The 12-inch wheels and 420mm seat height are designed for kids who can already balance on two wheels.
Our MOQ is 50 units per order. We can do smaller runs, but the per-unit price will be higher.
The 24V 5.2Ah lithium battery lasts about 300-500 full charge cycles. Lead time for new stock is typically 20-30 days after order confirmation.
