Purity comes in at 99% or better by HPLC, which is tighter than what you'll see from most reagent-grade suppilers, and the 4.1kDa molecular weight means solubility in water is solid at 5mg/ml, but don't expect it to dissolve instantly at room temp — we usually recommend gentle vortexing or a few minutes on a rocker.
It's not really suited for anything beyond metabolic or neuroprotection research; we've had a few buyers try it for in vivo cognitive studies, and the feedback is mixed — the half-life is pretty long, so dosing schedules need care.
