Basically works for metabolic pathway studies where you need a consistent peptide to run or binding assays, and it's soluble in water so no need for dimethyl sulfoxide or anything harsh—just reconstitute and go.
Purity runs ≥99% by HPLC and MS verified, we usually have stock on the 5mg and 10mg vials but the 1mg size can take 20 days or so to restock if it's out, and storage is at -20°C which is pretty standerd for this type of matrial.
Most buyers go with the 10mg vial for in vivo work where you're dosing over several weeks, but teh 1mg works fine if you're just doing a few cell-based assays and don't want to thaw and refreeze.
It's a white powder form—nothing unusual about appearance—and the molecular weight is roughly 4100 g/mol or so, which puts it in the range of other GLP-1 receptor agonists that are used for metabolic research.
Not great for long-term shelf stability above -20°C, that's just the reality of peptide research, and we do see some degradation if left at room temperture for more than a few hours.
